We’re a little late on the post, but that doesn’t mean we didn’t celebrate our favorite day of the week…Friday Fun Day! For those of you who don’t know,Friday Fun Day is a way for the Maxim Hygiene team to come together at the end of a busy week and have a little fun. Each week, a different member of our team will be in charge of creating a fun way to start our Friday. This week,Maxim Hygiene’s Finance and Logistics Assistant, Josh, was in charge. Here’s what Josh has to say:
I have always been fascinated with space and the exploration of it. With the recent final launch of the Space Shuttle Endeavor, I chose to honor it by doing a little space exploration with my co-workers right from our office. Since the shuttle was headed to the International Space Station (ISS), I first showed everyone where the ISS was at that particular moment (southern tip of Africa). We then did a little space exploration using the Google Sky application on my cell phone. This app allows you to view real places in space by just pointing the phone in that direction. I concluded my fun day by showing pictures of rare phenomena that were captured using the Hubble Space Telescope.
