The Maxim Hygiene Green Team promotes attitude, boldness, and bravery, but, more importantly, we sponsor healthy habits. As part of National Women’s Health Week, we want to remind women about the importance of being healthy – and part of good health is making sure we avoid any risky behaviors.
Let’s start simple. Don’t smoke. It’s the leading cause of lung cancer. It’s terrible for you and terrible for the environment. Even second-hand smoke kills. If you do smoke, think about quitting. If you don’t, don’t start!
Don’t drink to excess. Liver disease and unbecoming behavior are just two of the obvious reasons why drinking should be kept responsible. It’s always fun to go out with the ladies, but don’t go overboard. Don’t get me wrong. I love to party, but I also like to keep it classy.
How can we replace harmful habits with behaviors that will help us? Exercise. A good workout is good for the body and mind. Take a run! Enroll in a gym. Being active relieves stress and is the foundation for a healthy body.
Avoid junk food. Don’t eat every meal at Burger King or Mickey D’s. No matter how tasty it is, think about what you’re eating. Why put empty calories in your body? Eat right. Eat good foods! Replace those empty calories with nutritious alternatives. Choose super foods like berries, broccoli, citrus fruits, nuts, turkey, tomatoes, and spinach. I don’t put toxins in my body. It’s the same reason I use Maxim Hygiene. Natural and Organic cotton is good for the body.
There are many benefits to Maxim Hygiene products. To name a few, we don’t use wood fluff pulp, which is a known irritant in other synthetic brands of tampons. Our products are hypoallergenic, eco-friendly, user-friendly, and don’t have any plastic fillers.
If we can keep track our daily habits, we can stay healthy by keeping our bodies out of harm’s way. So, avoid those risky behaviors for Women’s Health Awareness Week, and do right by your body.
