Celebrate Our Parents!
Today, we honor those people that raised us, the people that helped us find ourselves, enforced some strict rules and made us do our homework, the people that guided us through the hard times and celebrated with us in the good, the people that cooked us dinner and taught us how to tuck the sheets under the mattress for maximum sleep comfort, the people that stuck by us even when we through fits, the people that mean the most to us in all the world.
My parents have always tried to make me be the best that I can be. They’ve pushed me to do everything in my power to achieve my maximum potential. Without them, I don’t know where I would have ended up. Although I’m all grown up now and don’t need to jump into my mom’s bed every time there’s a thunder storm, it’s still nice to know that they fully support me in everything I do.
So, today, we show our appreciation and love for our parents with a phone call, a letter, or an e-mail that states our gratitude for them. Their love and encouragement has nurtured me, and I hope that they know how much they really truly mean to me.
Mom and Dad, I love you both! Now, you Maxim Hygiene followers go out and call your parents today. Do something nice for them even if you’re in an entirely different country! And, tell us what you do for them in the comments below… I for one am going to bake them a chocolate cake and make a personal special delivery to their door as a surprise.
