Every 4th of July is a reminder of our great country’s Declaration of Independence for “Life, liberty and pursuit of justice for all. This Independence we’re commemorating our recent freedoms – more specifically, SCOTUS’ baller decision to slam Prop 8 and as a result we’re choosing to honor the color blue out of all our flag’s glorious colors. Why?
Well, we At Maxim Hygiene see a lot of white and red (if you know what I mean), but not a lot of blue. And blue is integral to our rainbow flags of gay pride as well as to our favorite patriotic holiday goodies!
Party away this week(end) and observe our nation’s independence day by trying our favorite blue-inclusive recipes, inspired by the Food Network and epicurious-savvy pinners like your selves.
