Celebrating Women’s Health Week!

Next week (May 8-14, 2011) is Women’s Health Week!! This is a very important week for us because Maxim Hygiene was developed with Body, Earth, and Health in mind. Therefore, everyday next week our blogs will be focused on that thing we so highly value: WOMEN’S HEALTH!

Women’s health week is a perfect reminder to keep us gals in check! Often, our lives get too stressful as we get so busy with work and play, we forget about what matters most… Ourselves!  This is the week we take to make sure our health is in order.  We take care to make sure our bodies, spirits, and minds are all well-maintained.

We are fierce women, but we all need to take care of ourselves.  To make up for all those days we skip breakfast to make it to work on time, all those days we went to bed late and woke up early to hit our deadlines, we make sure that we devote this week entirely to taking care of ourselves.  Get things done, but make the time to take care of yourself!

By getting that check-up we may have forgotten about during the year, we make sure we are in good health.  Eating healthy gives us the strength to take on the day with the nutrition we need.  We exercise to keep in shape, and we avoid risky behaviors to keep ourselves in peak condition.  By taking our mental health day, we try to reinvigorate ourselves so that we can think straight.

It’s about you!  All week, pamper yourself.  Get things done, of course.  But, just remember what’s important.  YOU!
