I can talk about material things they can give me instant gratification but that would be selfish. One of the things I wish there were more of is more equal rights for women. Yesterday, the US Department of Health and Human Services issued news that birth control will be available to women without the need of a co-payment from their insurance. This gives women more options and the chance to have the right to control their bodies. For a long time men have been able to criticize women who choose to explore their productive choices and in a way that has hindered women. Women have always been considered second class citizens and the weaker sex throughout history. Even in 2011, in our “post-racial” world, women are considered still the weaker sex and women also find themselves still molding their lives to stereotypes that have been placed upon us by men and politics.
But as anything in life, we have options. Women have more options now than before to live the life to desire to live. In 2011, women have the right to do what they wish to their bodies to make them feel good. But as a woman sometimes the prettiest thing isn’t always the best or safest thing. That’s why I’m happy to have the option to use Maxim Products because I feel free when I’m the most vulnerable. I also wish we had more women leaders and women in higher power. The world needs more women prime ministers, scientists, warriors, queens and hopefully presidents. Once upon a time women did rule the world and were the greater sex but I can’t pinpoint what the downfall exactly was. So at the end of it all I wish women to have more equality in their professional and personally lives. I hate that women get pigeon-
