The Devil Wears Prada
A chick flick is determined on the girl factor a movie provides. The girl factor is measured on the romance, love stories, plot and general girl activities that women do on an everyday basis that are captured on the big screen to market and relate to us. I think chick flicks are cool because they provide women everywhere to bond together over one common entertaining cause.
“Sex and the City” is my favorite chick flick. I get to enjoy the designer clothes, shopping sprees, and romance of my favorite television characters for almost two hours. Women from all across the globe can relate to these characters as these are things women tend to like doing and consumers, we tend to support things that we like.
There are some movies that don’t appear to be a chick flick but once you actually get into it it is. Chick flicks usually are great date movies. Another chick flick I adore is ” The Devil Wears Prada”. It had drama, fashion , love and a good moral story that encompassed it which made it entertaining and fun. Chick flicks are also cool to watch when you are feeling extra emotional and need a good laugh.
